Galleria Carla Sozzani 1990-2012
Exhibition after exhibition, the gallery has brought to light many new talents which are now the current stars of today. Carla Sozzani Editore has issued this limited edition set highlighting 22 years of the galleria and the photographers featured from 1990 until 2012. Each year has been carefully curated to reflect the gallery's growth. The first show in September 1990 was Louise Dahl-Wolfe, and since then many have followed: Man Ray, Lilian Bassman and Horst P. Horst, Sarah Moon, Paolo Roversi, and Peter Lindbergh. Between the iconic photograph of Marilyn Monroe by Bert Stern and "Small Trades" of Irving Penn, iconic photography has graced the gallery walls. Carla Sozzani's great love for the artistic medium of photography has transformed from a private passion into a gift for all to enjoy.
